Macario Sakay
Macario Sakay was a former Katipunero under Andress Bonifacio a leader of katipunan. He was under the custody of American democracy after the captured and fork overed of our first President of the Philippines known as Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo. Macario Sakay was disposed amnesty after knowing that he was a fall apart of katipunan that is against the Spanish and American colonization. He was concerned with the freedom of his fellow traveller Filipinos, thats why he was worried of the outcome of the surrender of his former general leaders like Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo and Gen. Miguel Malvar.
After attached amnesty, He planned out to regain Katipunan revolutionary root word because he thought that all of the objectives of the Katipunan was set to nothing. His motives for this were that after the rule of Spaniards another race again colonized them. This realization fuel the uprising of demonstrations against the American government to achieve independence.He formed a new republic group and rules.
The revolutionary group was called Bagong republika ng mga katagalugan, he formed his new constitution and fellow generals.
He was the supreme leader of the new revolutionary group and proclaimed himself as the new president and general of this new republic. As the time is going on, Americans recognized Macario Sakays group as a Bandit. Their group hid inside the immense forest, for their security.
Macario Sakay cant be called selfish because he was just protecting the upbeat of many Filipinos. But somehow because his group hid inside the vast forest, Americans harmed many innocent Filipinos for the crime that Macario Sakay had made.
